When love has its roots in childhood, it creates a story that feels destined—and that’s exactly what James and Hayley share. Their wedding at The Epping Club, one of Sydney’s most elegant venues, was nothing short of magical, and we at MK-Pixels Photography were honoured to capture every beautiful detail.

The ceremony took place in the Grand Salon Room at The Epping Club (45-47 Rawson St, Epping), a venue known for its grandeur and warm ambience. With Jeremy Hodson as their celebrant, James and Hayley exchanged vows in front of their loved ones—including a bridal party of 13, with their two boys proudly watching on.

Bridal Shoot

Your wedding day shouldn’t be spent rushing from one location to another just for photos. James and Hayley felt the same—they wanted to soak in every moment with their loved ones and avoid traveling far for their bridal portraits. With just 20 minutes to work with, we made the most of the elegant spaces at The Epping Club. But we also wanted to add something a little different.

Across the road, we spotted an old, weathered warehouse—nothing remarkable at first glance. But the rustic white paint and textured walls caught our eye. What seemed ordinary to most turned out to be the perfect contrast to the formal elegance of the day. Shooting there gave the bridal portraits a raw, artistic edge, and brought something unexpected and beautiful into their wedding story.

Reception Elegance at The Epping Club

As the sun set, the celebration continued with a reception at The Epping Club. The in-house DJ, Patrick, kept the energy alive as guests danced the night away. From the heartfelt speeches to the joyful cake cutting at 9 PM and the couple’s emotional first dance at 9:15 PM, every moment was picture-perfect.
