Inika and Akira’s story began in Byron Bay with a first date at a small Japanese restaurant—thoughtfully planned to be entirely gluten-free. That care set the tone early: steady, attentive, and quietly romantic without being showy.
Their connection grew through sunrise dates with tea in hand, watching the ocean and heading to work afterwards. Later came living close (literally—Akira moving into Inika’s bus), and a proposal that couldn’t wait for the “perfect” moment.
